Special
Olympics Banner Patch
- Criteria
and Application
|
Clubs that volunteer
at a Special Olympics or Special Recreation District event or
contribute to their local Special Olympics Area or the State
Special Olympics will be recognized at the District Convention
and presented with a banner patch for their involvement. The
criteria for eligibility are:

1 |
Provide 15 or more
hours of volunteer service assisting in a Special Olympics event,
OR |
|
2 |
Make a minimum contribution
of $50 to Special Olympics, issued to your Area Director for
use in your locality, the state Special Olympics for use in state-wide
events, or the Torch Run for use state-wide, OR |
|
3 |
Sponsor an athlete,
or plan some function for a team such as a picnic or attending
a sporting event, AND |
|
4 |
Report these activities
on your monthly report. |
